Dear Colleagues,
The Harris and Eliza Kempner Fund is excited to announce the launch of our new online grant application format and new website, effective for the October 15, 2018 proposal deadline. We have spent the last year designing a new application and website and incorporating feedback from a focus group of grantees. We now look forward to transitioning to the new grant application, beginning with the 2018 fall grant application deadline.
The goal of the new application format is to better enable applicants to make their case and tell their story. We have worked to streamline the application process, clarify what documents and other attachments are required, and make a clear distinction between the types of requests for support. Although the application has a new look and new submission format, the content and requirements are similar to the Fund’s former application.
The new application and expanded information are available on our website today. We suggest that applicants take some time to review the new materials prior to beginning an online application. With the following link, you will be able to see the new format: Online Application Link.
The application will be live on the online portal by September 1, 2018.
