As Administrative & Operations Coordinator, Daria Walters supports the Harris & Eliza Kempner Fund's daily operations through coordination, organization, and relationship management that help advance the Fund's mission and community impact. With a strong background in program management, event coordination, and administrative operations, she works closely with staff, community partners, and stakeholders to ensure efficient processes, seamless communication, and effective organizational support.

Daria brings more than five years of experience in operations, program coordination, and community engagement across nonprofit and private-sector organizations. Most recently, she served as Program Manager & Events Coordinator for Powerful Futures Initiatives, where she managed program logistics, coordinated community convenings, maintained operational systems, and supported grant-funded initiatives designed to improve outcomes for youth and families. Her experience includes stakeholder engagement, event planning, documentation management, data tracking, and process improvement, all grounded in a commitment to service and community impact.

A lifelong volunteer and advocate for nonprofit organizations, Daria's dedication to giving back began in adolescence and has continued throughout her adult life. Her passion for strengthening communities and supporting mission-driven work ultimately led her to pursue a career in the nonprofit and philanthropic sectors, where she is committed to helping organizations create meaningful and lasting change.

Daria holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with studies in Finance, Business Law, and Marketing, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Mississippi State University.
